I CAN FINALLY GET TO HAVE A GOOD REST((:
The past few days have been madness.
It was a challenge both mentally and physically.
Although it was only a short 3days,but it felt like 3years instead!
Here's the breakdown on activities.
Wed, 13thMay2009...
-Met up with ling,au wanting&shuxin for matrix run briefing at 630pm.
-Ended at 11.15pm & got home at bout 12am.
-Couldnt fall asleep and ended up tossing&turning on my bed.
-Guess i only fell asleep at 3am.
Thurs, 14thMay2009...
-Met up like xian, ling&her whole group of friends at 73oam for isetan private sales.
-had like only about 3.5hours of sleep the previous night.
-Private sales started as early as 830am and lots and lots of crowd!
-Stood at the entrance like a robot repeating the same words "GOOD MORNING!"
to EACH AND EVERY CUSTOMERS WHO ENTERED!
-And continuously giving out large, premium quality plastic bags continuously.
-What's worst was at a particular period,i had a great amt of bags on my hands.
and i had to hold them for like 15-20min and ended up with a sore arm today. :((
-Reason being, there were periods when this FREAK aunty who wouldnt give me a
chance to distribute the bags cos she rooted herself right in front of me and each time
she was left with a few bags, another freaking aunty gave her another set of bags!
i was like WTH! =X it's like there isnt a need to be a "EFFICIENT" right?!
or to put it across in another way, KIA-SU. like oh-puh-lease...even if she has run out of bags, there's still me right behind her and she can wait till im gg to finish distributing the bags on my hands before she takes over, like a circuit kind of thing u get my point??
-Glad that i had to relief the wrappers at the cashier most of the time, cos' that was what i enjoyed most throughout the whole private sales. i could slack, chit chat with the cashier and do some packing of the items. so much better as compared to doing things repeatedly!
-Again, it ended late at 1030pm and by the time i knocked off from work, my soles were feeling sore sore sore... :((
-Had a hard time dragging my feet home throughout the journey back home.
-Had the nicest bath ever and slept around 1am but sadly no sweet dreams! HAHAS!
Friday, 15thMay2009...
-ZBG Day~MATRIX RACE for Methodist Girls' School
-Woke up seriously early at 530am!
-earliest i've woken up in the morning throughout my 18 soon 19years of life!!!
-Anw, the main point was the MATRIX RACE for MGS primary kids.
-arrived at MGS at 630am. almost felt like cont'ing my sleep there.
-helped out abit with the stuffs here and there.
-kids started streaming in, did our job and stuffs.
-shant go into furthur details.
-WHAT I WANNA SAY IS THAT I GUESS I REALLY ENJOYED MYSELF TODAY!((: -Although i felt really really drained out, it was fun experiencing something different.
-Generally,it's something people ard our age wouldnt have a chance to experience.
-Seeing the kids, esp the lower primary, the way they behaved and stuffs,it really kept me going. -there were 2events which was engraved deep in my mind.
- 1 was where this physically handicapped girl who insisted on being by their teammates so as to cheer them on despite her difficulty in walking and adding to it, the distance to the destination wasnt very close in the first place. i could see the pain in her but the team spirit in her just kept her going. it really touched my heart. ((:
-Secondly was the incident of the releasing&distributing balloons at the end of the day.
-Practically, Anne was like 'hmms may maybe u could try throwing the balloons into the air for the little kids to have fun with them' and i was ohkays!
-But it was seriously a wrong decision cos' the kids starting running towards me & i got a shock & nearly fainted as well! HAHAS.
-I stopped immediately and tried leaving the remaning bag of balloons at the side but ended up with kids following me the the side and basically grabbing balloons from the bag. note the word GRABBING! gosh, i almost had a heart attack.
-Au Wanting saw this 2 lil' kids who coincidentally GRABBED THE SAME BALLOON and when they realised that, they STARED at each other with a fierce look and au wanting was 'traumatised'. LOLS. kidding. just simply shocked. i didnt know that such a thing took place cos' i guess i was toooooo busy trying to keep the kids in control but apparantly i failed! HAHAS!
-Had great fun partnering with kexin throughout most of the day. :D
-Lunch-treat from Anne at MAC. and since it was a treat, we were like some typical kiasu singaporeans who upsized our meals to get the free coca-cola contoured glass cup! LOLS.
(it was au wanting's idea actually! LOLS)
-Seriously, Anne never seems to have an ending in her conversations and it just goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on.... ZzzzZZzzZZzz....
-On one hand,we were soooooooo dead tired but on the other,we felt that it was awkward to break the conversation and leave.
-it sounds like great to be able to leave but heavy downpour started and we were still drenched despite the umbrellas. UGH.
-too tired to shop and i decided to just go straight home. gosh.
-im seriously too tired to bathe, cleanse my face &brush my teeth right now but i cant....
-ohwell...
-just to end off.
-i really enjoyed my time with MADCREW
-really great and nice people who can be really serious when it comes to work but at the
same time having a whole lots of fun crapping and joking and messing around when work is
over! :D
-LOVE&CHERRISHED THE WHOLE NEW EXPERIENCE AND PEOPLE WHOM I'VE MET.
(cos' it's a wonder that we've met them and we might not meet them in the future again).
couldnt help but to add on that it's madness having less than 5hours of sleep for 2consecutive
days! zZzzZzz...
